Planting a Seed: Plant Exchange & Art Gala Fundraiser to Combat Human Trafficking ($10 per person, Tickets can be purchased at the door)

Join us for an incredible event that combines our love for plants and art, all while supporting a great cause! The Planting a Seed event is a must-attend in-person gathering happening at the ARMORY SPORTS CENTER GYMNASIUM.

Did you know that globally millions of people are trafficked yearly? Many of these individuals are in our daily sight, and yet we are unaware. Human trafficking has lasting mental, emotional, and physical consequences. Learn more about Human Trafficking by attending this event and providing a donation to help dismantle this form of modern-day slavery.

  • Bring a pest-free, beautiful plant or two or three for trade: they can be potted or bare root - as long as you’re prepared to part with them

  • Entry fee cost from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM is $10

  • Entry fee cost from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM is $5 Purchase art and plants that will be for sale

  • Enter plant raffles

  • Pick up a free plant, while supplies last

  • Enjoy light refreshments while you mingle with other plant and art lovers!

At this unique event, you'll have the opportunity to swap and share plants with fellow green thumbs. Bring your favorite potted plants and take home new additions to your collection. It's a chance to connect with other plant enthusiasts and learn from each other.

But that's not all! The Art Gala Fundraiser will showcase stunning artworks from talented local artists. Admire their creativity and perhaps even find a piece that speaks to you. Every purchase goes towards supporting the fight against human trafficking.
